A Man of Vision
Nehemiah’s story illustrates the importance of vision, both personal and divine. A vision is a dissatisfaction with the status quo, a desire for a better outcome, and a snapshot of the future. Liberty Church’s mission is to make disciples, and their vision is to create a better future through hard work, prayer, and divine guidance.
A vision is a clear mental picture of the future that provides passion, commitment, and direction. Nehemiah’s vision inspired the Israelites to rebuild their walls after 150 years of disgrace. To leverage the future, individuals should connect their personal vision with God’s vision for their lives.
